Mujeres Latinas en Acción’s mission is to empower Latinas through providing services, which reflect their values and culture and by being an advocate on the issues that make a difference in their lives. Today, Mujeres remains a unique and vital resource–the longest-standing Latina-led organization in the country- with programs designed to lead a client on the road to empowerment – all the way from crisis to leadership. Mujeres has provided Domestic Violence Services since the early 80’s and Sexual Assault services since the early ’90s.
