This virtual event will explore the state of rural maternal and infant health. Speakers will share insights on how survivors of intimate partner violence are uniquely affected by the maternal health crisis and how they can be better supported.
As a result of this webinar, participants will be better able to:
Describe the current state of rural maternal and infant care in the United States, including drivers of maternal and infant mortality and morbidity rates.
Identify state and local strategies and solutions that address the maternal and infant mortality and morbidity rates in rural communities.
Examine strategies to improve maternal and infant health outcomes, address barriers to care, create pathways for collaboration, investment and innovation to improve conditions for all mothers and babies.
Describe how survivors of intimate partner violence face greater challenges in seeking care and support during pregnancy and postpartum.
